• met with a credit counselor about my ongoing financial issues. depressing. not good. not sure what can be done. scared the shit out of me, told me if a crisis comes along, i could end up in bankruptcy.
• running on the treadmill, a commercial for a funeral home comes on. Tears, while jogging. I regain composure. Finish the run.
• Let a friend borrow my car. Friend calls me, tells me the car is dead. She further goes on to say about how she was at a doc, and that she smells,in my car, that is dead. She’s vague about what was wrong with the car. Up in lake forest.
• Went on a date. Guy not interested.
• Ran into ex boyfriend, with his new girlfriend.
• Found out another ex is now in a relationship, via Facebook.

All I can do is keep on going.

Prior to date, I had my doubts. Lots of strange email grammatical errors. Then, while on the date, seems he had some type of nervous scratch thing going on. All of this considered, I was willing to overlook these things, because, well, it just is so rare I’m even sort of interested.

Nothing else.  That’s it. Granted…I’m not sure what my thoughts were, yet I for sure would be interested in a second date. It is so rare that I even find someone attractive these days, let alone, a little bit funny.  It seems just like the J. Geils band says, you love her, she loves him….you just can’t win. Who knows, maybe this guy will call. I’m not going to hold my breath though. I don’t usually look at dating as if I’m a debbie downer, yet it sure would be nice to figure some of this out.

Today’s thoughts- getting things done, checking items off the list. Writing always helps me sort through things. Hopefully I’ll come back here and write some more.
